Important Scheduling Info for 2023-24: Drop/Add Period

The spring Add/Drop Period is the opportunity for students and parents to request changes to their courses for next school year. After a slight delay due to changes made by the Infinite Campus vendor, the Drop/Add Period will open Tuesday, March 21 - Thursday, March 23.

Add/Drop Instructions:

  • Please review your student's course requests in Campus Student or Campus Parent (aka the Portal where you check grades and attendance).

  • DO NOT make any changes in Campus Student/Parent if given an option. If you need to request to add or drop a class, please complete the Google Form.

  • If you do not want to request a change, you do not have to do anything else.

  •  Students/Parents should submit change requests using this Add/Drop Google Form only (See Link Below).

    • **You must be logged into a Google account to access the form.** The form will not be active until Tuesday, March 21.

Add/Drop Change Request Form:

  • Counselors will only review, and process change requests submitted via the online Add/Drop Google Form.

  • Course request changes submitted via email, phone or in person WILL NOT be accepted.

  • You will receive an email receipt of the Add/Drop Form you submitted

  • Be sure to ENTER YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS (not your APS email)

  • If you are having difficulty accessing your course requests or the Add/Drop form, please email Jill Stewart at jbstewart@apsk12.org.

Please keep in mind that these are requests for courses and not a guarantee that your student will have the course next year. Several factors such as too few students requesting a course, lack of teachers to teach a class, and requested classes being offered at the same time, may mean that your student will not take a course.

**THERE WILL BE NO SCHEDULE CHANGES IN AUGUST**

NAHS Practice SAT/ACT Opportunities

In partnership with Applerouth Tutoring, North Atlanta hosts a series of SAT & ACT practice tests throughout the school year. Click below for upcoming practice test dates and registration information:

ACT, SAT & PSAT Practice Tests:

Applerouth's full-length practice exams provides a testing experience under test like conditions. Students receive a comprehensive score report that identifies strengths and targets areas for improvement, so you'll know exactly where to focus your prep before your official test day.

The SAT/ACT Combo Test:

This practice test includes questions from both the ACT and SAT. Students receive feedback that compares their performance on each section of the two exams. This is a perfect opportunity to experience both tests, discover which test is the best fit for you, and target areas for improvement to help boost your score.
